ROLE: Program Assistant

Position: Full-time 

Location: Bucharest (hybrid), office in a central area (near Universitate), possibility to work from home 2-3 days per week

Start date: October 2023

We are searching for a Program Assistant with an extended interest in project management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and a keen desire to support and uplift the SME sector in Romania. The Program Assistant will work with the Project Manager and Content Lead as well as other team members to assist in developing the platform and reaching its key objective.

Program Description: Sustainability Academy, a cutting-edge 360 solution hub in Romania committed to nurturing micro-enterprises and SMEs towards more sustainable business practices. Through educational modules, interactive webinars, and a thriving community, we help entrepreneurs evolve their business models for increased long-term profitability and social responsibility.

The platform serves as a guide for entrepreneurs, helping them transform their business models and enhance long-term profitability. It offers relevant and valuable content on sustainability through digital modules, SME solution marketplace, and networking opportunities.

One of the key components of the Sustainability Academy is its focus on education and community. Participants gain access to relevant content that aids in developing skills and knowledge in the field of sustainability, equipping them to overcome current and future challenges.

By being part of the Sustainability Academy, entrepreneurs not only gain valuable knowledge but also have direct networking opportunities within the platform, allowing them to connect with potential business partners as well as suppliers and business networks.  

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. (ex. Developing strong relationships with national and international partners, creating timelines, and delivering tasks in a timely manner) in English and Romanian. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship & project management, and/or sustainability is a plus. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • BA in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field is preferred. (analytical field) 

  • An analytical mind, with a strong understanding of processes and efficiency in achieving targets, improving existing data or other types of processes. 

  • Work experience for at least 1 year in a startup, incubator, or small business environment is a plus.

  • Monitoring and automatization skills

  • Time management & Organizational Skills

  • Tech savvy 

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support: Provide general administrative support to the team, which includes scheduling appointments, managing emails and phone calls, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documents.

  • Coordination: Assist with the coordination and planning of events, filming sessions, and workshops for the program. Tasks include sourcing speakers, coordinating logistics, and managing registration and attendance.

  • Sustainability Academy Platform: Learn our Platform (LearnWorlds) in and out and help us upload interactive content, communicate with our community, send internal newsletters, and constantly think of ways to improve our process. 

  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting: Assist in tracking and reporting key metrics and progress of the program to ensure objectives are met. (ex. Weekly reports on specific details about the digital platform, weekly meetings with the team (Project Manager, Content Lead, Community Manager)

Extra 

  • Research and data gathering: Conduct research to assist the management team, especially the Content Lead in the development of personalized content for specific industries, initiatives, and regional partnerships.
